On the Role groups for Microsoft Purview solutions page, select eDiscovery Manager. On the Permissions page, under Microsoft Purview solutions, select Roles. In the left pane, select Roles & scopes > Permissions. Go to the compliance portal and sign in using an account that can assign permissions. ![]() However, you can't add a mail-enabled security group to the eDiscovery Administrators subgroup. You can use the Add-RoleGroupMember cmdlet in Security & Compliance PowerShell to add a mail-enabled security group as a member of the eDiscovery Managers subgroup in the eDiscovery Manager role group. ![]()
